Harbins Park — Cedar Creek Trail
Saturday, December 13, 2025 • Dacula, GA, Georgia
The Cedar Creek Trail follows a winding, blazed path along the upper banks of Cedar Creek through a lush, shaded canyon landscape. The route is moderately rolling, crossing historic rock steps and passing towering bluffs built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s — a great winter hike with plenty of water spots along the way.
Trail Notes
- Difficulty: Easy · 193 ft elevation gain · about 1–1.5 hours out-and-back
- What hikers say: wide paved paths, plenty of shade, and scenic views; the transition between paved and unpaved sections is the main surprise. Reviewers recommend enjoying the creek-side water spots.
